Our mission: Empowering independence through literacy.

Literacy For Adults Partnership links the best practices of four volunteer literacy organizations. Our mission is to work together across west suburban Chicago to help adults read, write, speak and understand English better. We train and support volunteers who deliver one-to-one tutoring that helps our neighbors achieve independence and reach their personal goals.

 Together we serve nearly 80 communities in west suburban Chicago.

• Literacy Connection serves northern Kane and surrounding communities.  
• Literacy DuPage serves DuPage County.
• Literacy Volunteers Fox Valley serves central Kane County.
• Literacy Volunteers Western Cook County serves west suburban Cook County.

We are part of ProLiteracy America, the largest literacy support provider in the United States. ProLiteracy champions the power of literacy to improve the lives of adults and their families, communities, and societies.
